NEW: Netflix revealed "3 Body Problem" trailer!

Netflix has just released the official trailer for the sci-fi series "3 Body Problem", based on Liu Cixin's popular and award-winning literary series. The creators of the series are currently not very popular duo David Benioff and DB Weiss (Game of Thrones). The writers, showrunners and executive producers are Benioff, Weiss and Alexander Woo (The Terror: Infamy, True Blood), while the other executive producers are Bernadette Caulfield, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, Rosamund Pike, Robie Uniacke, Lin Qi, Zhao Jilong, Fenfen Xu and Xiasong Gao.

"What we hope is to bring the adventure- if not necessarily the exact details - of the novel to the screen. What remains, hopefully, is a sense of wonder and a sense of scale, where the problems are no longer just the problems of an individual or even a nation, but of an entire species," stated Alexander Woo a long time ago. Some of the more important changes are chronological changes, character corrections, expansions, additions, and setting of the story in the present time primarily in the UK.

What can we expect?

Ye Wenjie is an astrophysicist who saw her father brutally murdered during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. After her father's murder, she was later recruited because of her background as a scientist and sent to a secret radar base in a remote region of China. Her fateful decision in the 1960s reverberates to a group of present-day scientists through space and time, forcing them to confront humanity's greatest threat.

Starring Jess Hong (Inked) as Jin Cheng, Eiza González (Ambulance) as Auggie Salazar, Jovan Adepo (Jack Ryan) as Saul Durand, Alex Sharp (The Trial of the Chicago 7) as Will Downing, John Bradley (Game of Thrones) as Jack Rooney and Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) as Da Shi. The series also includes Saamer Usmani as Raj Varma, Liam Cunningham as Thomas Wade, Rosalind Chao and Zine Tseng as Ye Wenjie, Jonathan Pryce and Ben Schnetzer as Mike Evans, Marlo Kelly as Tatiana, Sea Shimooka as Sophon and Eve Ridley as Follower.

The series "3 Body Problem" arrives on Netflix on March 21 with all eight episodes.
