March brings us the mysterious murder thriller "Sleeping Dogs", in which one of the main roles is played by the legendary Russell Crowe. The production of the feature film ended last year, and now is the moment when the premiere is expected. Finally, the first trailer has been released, in which Crowe and his colleague Tommy Flanagan play a pair of homicide detectives.
Russell Crowe Struggles With Memory Loss in First "Sleeping Dogs" Trailer!
Murder can be a tough crime for any detective to solve. However, with the added challenge of memory loss, the chances are seriously stacked against you. This is the condition of Crowe's character, Roy Freeman, who, after receiving state-of-the-art treatment for Alzheimer's disease, is tasked with investigating a brutal murder case from his past. As he fights an uphill battle to regain his memory, Crowe turns to his former partner as he seeks to unravel the mystery behind the sadistic murder of a university professor. He encounters a net of greed, secrets, and contradictions, and Freeman's investigation is burdened by the fact that there is a chance that an innocent man will pay for a crime he did not commit. With or without his memory, Freeman will not allow the truth to be covered up. Justice must be served without mercy!
The movie "Sleeping Dogs" is an adaptation of the novel "The Book of Mirrors", a crime drama written by EO Chirovici. Filmed in Australia, the crime thriller was directed by Adam Cooper, and this is also his directorial debut. The screenplay for the film was written by Cooper and Bill Collage.
Apart from Crowe, in the movie "Sleeping Dogs" we will also see Karen Gillan, Marton Csokas, Harry Greenwood, and Thomas M Wright.
The film "Sleeping Dogs" will premiere in theaters on March 22 .
