The new trailer for "The Bikeriders" is out!

Last night, Focus Features presented the latest trailer for its drama "The Bikeriders", which has already been widely praised by critics at various festivals, but we will have to wait until it arrives in theaters.

"I was thinking, I can't run this club forever", we hear Tom Hardy in the new video: "I built this from scratch, this is our family, you and me, kid." Although it is a biker drama, the new project of the famous filmmaker Jeff Nichols ( Midnight Special, Mud ) is essentially a family story.

Along with Hardy, the main roles are played by Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, and Norman Reedus, and the story follows the rise of a fictitious motorcycle club, the "Vandals", during the 1960s through the lives of its members. The inspiration for the film was the iconic book of photographs by the American photographer and director Danny Lyon, so "The Bikeriders" will fully immerse you in the biker subculture of the 1960s.

Kathy ( Comer ), a self-confident member of the Vandals who is married to reckless and impetuous biker Benny ( Butler ), recalls the rise of the Vandals throughout the decade when they began as a local club of underdogs brought together by good times, motorcycles and respect for determined leader Johnny ( Hardy ). Over the years, Kathy has struggled to contain Benny's short temper and loyalty to Johnny, with whom she seems to be constantly competing for Benny's attention. When Vandal's life becomes increasingly dangerous and the entire club is on the verge of becoming a dangerous gang, Kathy, Benny, and Johnny will have to make decisions about their loyalties to the club and each other.

The film "The Bikeriders" is already presented at several festivals, starting with the Telluride Film Festival at the end of August this year. Still, it never made it to the cinemas. The problems started when Disney gave up on its distribution, but soon Focus Features saved the day - and it seems that this studio is more suitable for this kind of title.

Nichols signs the script, and the other roles are Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Boyd Holbrook, Damon Herriman, Beau Knapp, Emory Cohen, Karl Glusman, Toby Wallace, and Happy Anderson. We expect The Bikeriders in cinemas on June 21, 2024.
