NEWS: "Peaky Blinders" is getting two spin-off series!

"Peaky Blinders" ended its long run on the small screen with its sixth season. Although the series has come to an end, Cillian Murphy recently said that he would not mind appearing in the film, but it seems that viewers will be greeted by some new projects.

Foreign media reported that "Peaky Blinders" is getting two spin-off series for Netflix. The first will be set sometime during the 20th century in Boston, decades after the original. Not much is known about the other, except that the plot will revolve around Polly Gray, Tommy's aunt. Apart from those two details, nothing more is known about these two series. Netflix plans to turn its popular series into big franchises, and "Peaky Blinders" is one of those series. It is known that "Stranger Things" could also get a spin-off, and more and more people are talking about expanding the world of the "Wednesday" series.

Recall, that "Peaky Blinders" debuted in 2013, and after six seasons that covered mixed shades of crime, failure, political scheming, betrayal, and brutality, the show ended in 2022. In the aftermath, creator Knight discussed a feature-length film that would aspire to, perhaps, wrap up what was an ambiguous ending.

"Yes, I’m writing it right now. I’m nearly done writing it, and we’re going to shoot it… I’m setting up some film and television studios in Digbeth in Birmingham,” Knight said in July 2022. Despite Knight's consistent optimism over the years, Murphy had earlier this year, cast doubt on the film's development, saying “If there’s more story there, I’d love to do it, but it has to be right."

It is definitely clear that Netflix succeed, the streamer will be extending a world that is already a brilliant one. And we will be there to inform you about the new details as soon as we hear anything.
