Photos of an IKEA lamp / speaker with a Spotify button leaked
IKEA will soon release a Bluetooth speaker with a lamp function, which, due to its Spotify Tap button, will surely appeal to many users of the popular music streaming service
Thanks to a submission from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), photos and information about an interesting product of the Scandinavian furniture chain leaked. Namely, it is an IKEA Vappeby Bluetooth speaker, which, in addition to being IP65 certified for water and dust resistance, also boasts the fact that it has a built-in 20-lumen bulb.
In addition, this speaker/lamp also contains a Spotify Tap button that could already be seen on wireless headphones from various manufacturers, allowing users to control the music they listen to via the popular music streaming service.
According to The Verge, the Vapebby Bluetooth also has a USB-C battery charging port that IKEA claims will last up to 13 hours of use if the speaker is set to 50 percent brightness and volume. It is currently unknown how much this novelty from the IKEA range will cost, but since it does not belong to the SYMFONISK product line, it is assumed that the price will be slightly lower.
