Piers Morgan horrified with Lady Gaga's movie

Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He began his Fleet Street career in 1988 at The Sun. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century. From 1995, Morgan edited the Daily Mirror but was sacked in 2004. He was the editorial director of First News from 2006 to 2007.

The former host, Piers Morgan  (55), is not overly enthusiastic about the new filmwith  Lady Gaga  (35) - ‘The Gucci Dynasty’, judging by the reviews he posted on his social networks.

" I stopped watching the movie after an hour and a half, I'm just horrified ." the host complained in a review with which he published a picture of the poster.

But it didn’t just stay on that review. Namely, Morgan later further provoked with a photo on Instagram, in which he posed together with his wife Celia. He sarcastically admitted that their recent ‘crown style’ date, in the living room, had become ‘very lavish’ for a moment due to, as he himself said, the horror film.

" The only positive thing was that I was able to 'taste slightly' the wine I ordered " admitted Morgan, who has been suffering from loss of taste after the corona for some time.

Recall, Piers has long been the face of the show 'Good Morning Britain'. Known for his sharp tongue, he often raised dust in public. And the biggest one was certainly around the royal couple Meghan Markle (40) and Prince Harry (37). Almost from the very beginning of the love affair between Prince Harry and Meghan MarklePiers Morgan was not kind to the American actress, often pointing out that she carefully planned her entry into the royal family. Of course, these public criticisms were not liked by the Duchess of Sussex herself, who retaliated with a lawsuit against the media, but also against ITV, which broadcasts the popular morning show.

The UK’s media regulator, Ofcom, has powers in the television, radio, and telecommunications sectors and has a legal duty to represent the interests of citizens and consumers by promoting competition and protecting the public from harmful or offensive materials.

In the United Kingdom, it was announced at the beginning of the year that the Conservative government there intends to establish a new institution, the main goal of which will be to preserve the right to freedom of speech in British universities. The body would be called the Champion of Freedom of Speech, and those whose rights will be violated will be able to seek redress. Freedom of speech has long been given to people to express their own views without fear that someone will try to prevent or punish them.

Ofcom, the British Communications Office, decided that the host did not break any rules by commenting on the statements of the Duchess of Sussex in her bombastic interview with Oprah Winfrey. For him, it is a great victory, but also proof that freedom of speech is extremely important.
