Pink shares her advice for raising strong kids

Pink, a singer with a recognizable voice, still keeps her children away from having mobile phones! And in their house, strict rules apply when it comes to technology!

Her ten-year-old daughter Willow and five-year-old son Jameson will still have to wait for their first mobile phones because she thinks it is too early to have them.

Singer Pink explained that there are rules in her house when it comes to technology.

“There are bright and dark sides of technology for both children and adults. As for children, they don't use phones yet. I have a ten-year-old girl who does not have her own mobile phone, although she complained to me yesterday that most of the children in her class have them. I do not care. However, that does not mean that she will not get it at some point: We cannot avoid it forever. We will have to accept that” - Pink explained.

Pink believes that technology can be great for children when it comes to falling asleep.

“When they want to listen to fairy tales at night, of course, I will let them. This helps them to fall asleep easier, not to be afraid of the dark, and not to feel lonely” - the singer added.

She is not the only famous mother who is worried about looking at the screens too much.

Jennifer Lopez also raises children in a different way.

She once stated that she does not allow children to use tablets during the week, as well as play video games.

“School is in the first place and they must be good students, and the week is reserved for such a form of entertainment” - said J Lo on that occasion.

Expert opinion:

Experts warn that smartphones have double-edged swords and that they should not be given to children until they become mature and responsible enough to be able to use them properly. Studies show that adolescents who spend more time on smartphones are more likely to have mental health problems.

More and more pediatricians are advising parents to limit their children's time spent with technology, especially when it comes to using mobile phones and tablets. The consequences of uncontrolled use of mobile phones, laptops, tablets as well as sitting in front of computers and televisions are serious and sometimes frightening.
