Rumors about GTA 6: map with European locations
An industry expert said in a YouTube video that he knows reportedly juicy secrets about the development of GTA 6. So he discusses a probable release period, the development phase, and the map, which should include multiple locations.
The next-generation versions of GTA 5 for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will be launched this month, which some are excited about and others are not. What comes after that has been a rumor for years and was finally verified by Rockstar Games at the beginning of February: the development of GTA 6.
Rockstar Games stated at the time that works on the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise was in full swing.
GTA 6: Map with known places including Europe?
Regarding a month later, industry analyst Michael Pachter stepped in, with interesting things to say about GTA 6 in a brief video posted on YouTube on March 7th. It all starts with the fact that GTA 6 has been in development since 2014, a year after GTA 5.
Rockstar took care of the tale this year until 2015 when development began. Michael Pachter goes on to explain that development could take ten years or longer, implying a delivery date in 2024 at the very least.
But why is GTA 6 taking so long to develop? The industry analyst has a guess here as well. Because the game should incorporate three well-known places from classic 3D games. This implies that in GTA 6, players will be able to explore Liberty City (from GTA 3, subsequently GTA 4), Vice City (GTA Vice City), and San Andreas (GTA San Andreas, partially GTA 5).
But that's not all; Michael Pachter also highlights Europe, particularly London. Missions are believed to be dispersed throughout all of these areas, thus it's possible that you'll have to smuggle drugs from London to Los Angeles (San Andreas) via the port of Miami (Vice City).
According to an industry insider, GTA 6's play duration would likely be 400 to 500 hours, while Rockstar, to put it plainly, may charge $60 and include an online feature. However, this is all speculative, and nothing Michael Pachter has discovered is certain. As a result, these rumors, like all others, should be taken with extreme caution.
In any event, Pachter's statements should be enough to pique the interest of fans.
