After several months of waiting, Drake is finally releasing a new studio album
Drake has confirmed that his new studio album “Certified Lover Boy” will be released this Friday, on September 3rd.
The album was originally announced in August last year. "Certified Lover Boy" was supposed to be released in January 2021, but it was postponed several times.
Drake announced in an Instagram post that the new album will be finally released on Friday. The post allegedly includes the artwork for the upcoming album and the caption simply says "CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3".
The debut single "Laugh Now Cry Later," was a huge commercial success.
The rapper has been in the center of the media attention in recent weeks due to an argument with rapper Kanye West, which started in 2008.
Drake called out Kanye in the song, and Kanye responded by an angry message on his Instagram story followed by Drake's home address on Google Maps.
