Sarah Jessica Parker vigorously responded to fan criticism for her looks and gray hair. The 56-year-old actress, who will reprise her role as Carrie Bradshaw in 'And Just Like That', was completely honest in a recent interview.

She commented on increasing diversity in the series 'And Just Like That' saying "We were not interested in tokenism in any way. You can't bring people into a series and not let them be on camera! All these people and their characters are a great gift to us. ”

"There's so much misogynist chatter in response to us that would never. Happen. About. A. Man.," Parker tells Vogue. "'Gray hair, gray hair, gray hair. Does she have gray hair? I'm sitting with Andy Cohen, and he has a full head of gray hair, and he's exquisite. Why is it OK for him? I don't know what to tell you people!" she wondered.

She said that people can be cruel and unfair towards women who go through a basic natural process such as aging.
"It almost feels as if people don't want us to be perfectly OK with where we are as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better," she said, adding "I know what I look like. I have no choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?"
