Simply irresistible: White soup recipe
A simple recipe for white soup will delight you.
In addition to homemade soup with noodles and dumplings, every housewife should have a recipe for white soup in her cookbook. It is great when it is hot, and it can be eaten as a meal with a seasonal salad, and it can be served for a Sunday lunch before the main course. Even at celebrations, everyone adores it.
Ingredients:
- 400 g meat (veal, beef or chicken)
- 1 bunch of greens (carrot, parsnips, parsley)
- 1 small celery
- 1 onion
- 3-4 medium-sized potatoes
- 4-5 tablespoons of rice
- 1 egg yolk
- a little sour cream for cooking
Preparation:
- Put the meat to cook, and clean the onion and cut it in half.
- Put the halves on the hob to bake.
- When it is ready, add the onion to the pot in which the meat is cooked.
- When the meat is over with cooking, add the cleaned greens and celery.
- Cook until everything is soft.
- Strain the soup to add diced potatoes and rice, and chop the meat as well as carrots and celery.
- When the potatoes are cooked, make a powder of flour and water, then cook for a few more minutes.
- When the soup cools down a bit, add the egg yolks that you whipped with the cooking cream and stir.
