Ubisoft will soon shut down Hyper Scape

There are reports from several sources that Ubisoft is working on a new third-person shooter Pathfinder, which, at least on the first, has many similarities with Hyper Scape, which will be shut down later this month.

In August 2020, Ubisoft launched the free-to-play battle royale Hyper Scape, which used the proven formula of one hundred players on a map whose playing area is shrinking and spiced up the whole story with exceptional character mobility, a futuristic city, and hard fighting that distracted many.

Honestly, we couldn't remember what it was about, so we had to google and along the way, we came across information that a few months after the release, Ubisoft itself admitted that the game was too difficult and a bit boring.

As it became apparent that the project had failed, it was announced in January this year that Hyper Scape would be completely shut down on April 24, and a few days ago news emerged from three independent sources that Ubisoft had not given up battle royal new title, Pathfinder.

Admittedly, it is not clear whether this is a working title or a final one, but according to available information, it is known that the gameplay will be more like Hunt: Showdown as two teams of four players will have to make their way to the center of the map, just like the occasional nuisance that will try to distract them, as if shooting at each other is not enough.

Roads to the center lead through numerous doors, most of which are locked, and teams will have to figure out which way to go, and each character, called heroes in this game, comes with unique abilities, while the whole environment is set in the near future.

According to unnamed sources, the game will also feature vehicles that could be raced while we spend time waiting for friends, and as this is unverified information, we will wait for Ubisoft to appear, which will probably appear soon after this "discovery".
