Matt Damon accidentally met his wife Luciana Barroso in a caffe where she worked as a waitress.
Hollywood actor Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso do not like spotlights and they hide their private lives. They didn't make a big fuss about anything in their lives, and when they got married, almost no one knew about the event.
The couple met in 2003 in Miami, and they met in an unusual and fun way, which was enough for the couple to feel the chemistry.Damon was then filming 'Forever Together', and in the show Ellen DeGeneres he told how he met his wife.
‘We were supposed to shoot in Hawaii, and then the film was moved to Miami. Then, one night in the middle of filming, a few guys from the crew said, ‘Hey, let’s go get a beer somewhere'. I said, 'No, I'm not really into it,' but somehow they dragged me with them. '

‘I was a waitress, he was making a film there and the crew ended up at a bar one Saturday night. Matt's story is that he saw me on the other side of the room just as some light was shining on me. I said, 'Normally, it was a nightclub, there were lights everywhere!' '
However, then things got a little complicated. ‘People then started recognizing him and looking for pictures and autographs, and then it got a little aggressive because people drink and stuff like that so he came and hid behind my bar,’ she continued.
'He asked if he could have a drink there, away from the madness, and then he played the charm card and said, 'I saw you and I wanted to talk to you.'' she said. However, instead of falling for his charm, Luciana snapped at Damon, 'You know, if you mean to be here, you can't just stand there.'
Damon accepted the challenge, and the bartender's job was not difficult for him.
‘He trained to be a film bartender years earlier so he started making drinks,’ she recalled.'And he made me a lot of money on tips that night because, of course, everyone wanted to see him. That's how it turned into a really fun night and 15 years later - here we are! '

'By the end of the evening he invited me to go out with his friends, but I said, 'I can't, I have a four-year-old daughter, I'm not going anywhere.'
