The short teaser is more disturbing than anything else. Strange noises are heard until we look into another room from which we see only a fraction of what is happening there.
We observe the action through the doorway, where we partially see two men walking through the main room. One continues to look at the camera and then he is attacked by another wielding an axe. Everything is more creepy because a crucifixion can be seen on the wall across. The teaser attracted the attention of many horror fans, and judging by the comments, it is predicted to be a significant success.
The official description of the film reveals what exactly the film will deal with:
"FBI agent Lee Harker is tasked with solving an unsolved serial killer case that takes an unexpected turn, uncovering evidence of the occult. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again."
Directed and written by Osgood “Oz” Perkins (I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives In The House), the film was filmed in Vancouver, Canada. Jason Cloth and Dave Caplan’s C2 Motion Picture Group (Babylon) is producing this movie. Producers are Cage along with his production company Saturn Films, Dan Kagan, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Caplan, and Chris Ferguson. Cloth, Fred Berger, and John Friedberg are executive producers.
In addition to Cage, Maika Monroe, Blair Underwood, and Alicia Witt should also star in the film "Longlegs". The release of the film "Longlegs" is expected on July 12 of this year.
