A musician battling cancer has revealed his diagnosis: The disease is in the fourth stage
He said that his blood is trying to kill him.
American musician Mark Hoppus, bassist, and singer of the band Blink 182, shared with his fans during the stream details about his battle with cancer and explained that his diagnosis had to do with blood, not bones.
“My blood is trying to kill me,” he said in the video.
"My classification is diffuse B-cell lymphoma 4-A, which means it got into four parts of my body. I don't know exactly how they determine its proportion, but it got into enough parts of my body that the cancer is in stage four, which I think is the highest degree, ”he added.
Recall, Hoppus discovered in late June that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
"I still have months of treatment ahead of me, but I will fight as hard as I can and stay positive. I can't wait to beat this disease and see you again at concerts soon. I love you all," he wrote at the time.
