Hayes Grier arrested after a violent robbery!
Hayes Grier assaulted and robbed a man stealing his cell phone and causing bodily harm.
21-year-old influencer Hayes Grier, who is followed by 5.6 million people on Instagram, has been arrested in North Carolina after a violent robbery, the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office confirmed to People magazine.
The influencer faces three separate charges, including being charged with assault by causing bodily harm.
He is accused of brutally assaulting William Markolf and stealing his $ 1,200 cell phone. Hayes allegedly inflicted serious injuries on the victim, including brain damage. Markolf, as People writes, has a broken left orbital bone, bruises on his ribs, head trauma, and hearing loss.
Grier was released on $ 17,500 bail. The trial is set to begin Monday at 9 a.m., but it is not yet known if the influencer will show up.
The influencer became famous back in 2013 because of his antics on the Vine platform. He is currently followed by 5.6 million people on Instagram and has more than 880,000 subscribers to the YouTube channel.
