A must try: Swedish sticky chocolate cake
You don't even need a mixer to make this dessert.
Kladdkaka is the most popular chocolate cake in Sweden. Translated from Swedish, the name means sticky, "muddy" dessert, which is not surprising since the texture and taste resembles a combination of brownies and lava cakes. It's about one of the simplest desserts that can be prepared in just half an hour, using just six everyday ingredients that most people have at home. You don't even need a mixer to make this dessert.
Ingredients:
- 350 g of sugar
- 250 g of melted butter
- 120 g of flour
- 65 g of cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Preparation:
First, heat the oven to 400 degrees. Mix melted butter with flour, sugar, and cocoa powder until you get a uniform mixture. Add whole eggs and vanilla extract to the dough and mix everything together once again. Pour the resulting mixture into a round mold with a diameter of 24 cm that you have previously coated with a little margarine or floured and spread it evenly. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes. The surface of the cake and edges should be well baked, and the inside "sticky" and juicy. You can check with a toothpick before the end of baking. When you stick it in and take it out, it shouldn't be completely clean. Leave the cake to cool completely, then cut it and serve it with a scoop of ice cream or with a little whipped cream.
