Alec Baldwin said goodbye to Ray Liotte
Alec Baldwin said goodbye to Ray Liotte with an anecdote about the 'Good Guys'.
Actor Ray Liotta passed away suddenly at the age of 68. Many of his friends said goodbye to him, and one of them was also Alec Baldwin. He dedicated a post to Ray on Instagram. Baldwin recalled anecdotes about the 'Good Guys' and the cult role Liotta played in the film.
'Ray, no one would act better than you. I was working with Ray on one funny movie called 'The Last Klapa',' Baldwin began his story. 'On one occasion on the set, I said to him, 'Do you know I met Scorsese a few years ago?'' Baldwin said, thinking that he was also on the audition for the role in the film 'Good Guys' (1990).
'Sometimes, when you don't get a role, you say to yourself: OK, I wasn't really hoping for this, but that actor is a good choice too. But sometimes someone gets a role and you just know he was made for it. Before the whole set, I told him: Ray, no one would play that role better than you',' Baldwin recounted. 'Then there was a pause, and after that, he said, 'You know what, Alec? I agree',' the actor completed the anecdote.
'I can't believe he died at that age. No one should die at that age. He was a great actor. I think the most important thing for an actor is to have at least one big, significant role. If you can have an important role in a great movie, that's is a blessing. May he rest in peace,' Baldwin finished.
