Amber celebrated her daughter’s first birthday yesterday. The Aquaman star, 35, posted a photo with daughter Oonagh Paige Heard, born with help of a surrogate mother.'My little O is one year old today. I still can't believe she's here. My best year,' the actress wrote.

After a painful divorce from Johnny Depp, the famous actress became a mother. That she had a daughter, Heard announced last year explaining why she decided to become a mother.
'I am so excited to share this with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms,' she wrote.
'Now I understand how radical it is for us women and how important a part of our destinies. I hope we have come to that moment in history where it is normal not to want a ring but to want a cradle' she said.
'Part of me wants to continue to point out that my private life is nobody's business. The nature of my job forces me to take control of this. My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She is the beginning of the rest of my life.' she added.
Oonagh in Irish means lamb and Paige Malena was named after the actress' mother who died in May 2020. Sources told that the actress opted for a surrogate mother because doctors told her she would never be able to carry the pregnancy to the end on her own. She doesn't hide it, and it is obvious how mother role had changed her. After everything that happened with her failed marriage this baby is her cure.
