Billie Eilish complained: 'People are afraid of big breasts, that's why I lost 100,000 followers'

Teen star Billie Eilish, 19, has been perfecting a silhouette specifically designed to distract from her body since the beginning of her career. Many of her fans were very attached to her oversize sportswear, which they saw as a refusal to sexualize herself. That’s why, when she started experimenting with the new look, they reacted quickly and relentlessly.

Below a recent Instagram photo of her wearing a corset with a lace bra peeking out, some of them commented to her that she was dishonest and that fame had changed her.

- People stick to these memories and are attached to them. But it is very dehumanizing. I lost 100,000 followers, just because of the boobs. People are afraid of big breasts," Billie said in an interview with Elle.

- The problem is that we still live in a very sexist world in which women are categorized. You are either a virgin or a who*e. Billie started in a category that is not sexualized, she does not give in to the masses and does not use her sexuality in any way. After all, she was a teenager all that time - said the queen of pop  Madonna on this topic.

- If she wants to take photos of herself as a feminine girl, showing her body in a way she hasn’t done in the past, then why should she be punished for it? Women should be able to present themselves in any way they want. If Billie was a man, no one would write about this. A man can appear dressed in a suit and tie for the first three years of his career, and then next month he could be dressed like a prince or Mick Jagger, take off his shirt, wear eyeliner, and no one would say a word, ” Madonna added.
