Brad Pitt can't see the children again: The judge has been removed from the case and his decisions are no longer valid
The former dream couple became angry opponents. Their child custody trial is not over, however, and the higher court agreed with Angelina's complaints about the judge.
Actors Brad Pitt, 57, and Angelina Jolie, 45, filed for divorce in 2016, but despite the fact that they are no longer legally together, they are still on trial because they cannot reach an agreement regarding child custody.
Recall, along with son Maddox (19), the couple shares five minor children: Pax (17), Zahara (16), Shiloh (14), and twins Vivienne and Knox (12).
At the end of the last trial, they were assigned joint custody, and Jolie immediately handed over the documentation to the Second California District Court for the purpose of removing Judge John Ouderkirk from their case. She argued that the judge's decision was unfair and that he refused to hear the minor children and their wishes regarding custody.
A three-member commission agreed with Jolie and disqualified Ouderkirk last week. It is stated that he violated "his ethical obligations". Ouderkirk served as an interim judge and did not disclose that he had business connections with Pitt’s attorneys, which could have influenced his decision.
- The facts have not changed. There is a lot of evidence to prove that this is best for children. We will continue to do what is in line with that - said Pitt's spokesman.
