Cinnamon rolls will disappear in a second!
When the irresistible smell fills the house: Cinnamon rolls will disappear in the blink of an eye, and before they cool down.
Although this recipe gained the most popularity in the USA, cinnamon rolls originally originated in Europe, specifically in Sweden and Denmark. However, few people do not like this aromatic dessert, and the holiday season is perfect for its preparation.
Ingredients:
- 600 g flour
- 100 g butter but an additional 50 g
- 200 g white sugar + 50 g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 30 ml of hot water
- 100 g of chocolate drops
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk.
- Add sugar, 100 grams of butter, a pinch of salt, egg and flour and mix well.
- Shape into a ball of dough, cover with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let stand for 1 to 2 hours until doubled.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape.
- Melt the remaining 50 grams of butter in the microwave.
- Coat the rolled dough with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Roll out the dough, cut into medallions, place on a baking sheet previously lined with baking paper. Put a few pieces of chocolate on each roll.
- Bake for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
Carefully remove from the oven, cool and enjoy.
