Did you know that you can stay in a house from the ‘Sex Education’ series?

For the third season in a row, we are captivated by the sympathetic characters of the series 'Sex Education' and their love problems, and no less interesting is the ambiance in which the series was filmed. Retro interior design gives the impression of comfort and convenience, and dreamy landscapes of eternal autumn in colors invite you to travel.

Scenes from the fictional Moordale were filmed in various locations in the United Kingdom, mostly in the area of ​​Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, and Monmouthshire.

One of the most attractive locations is certainly the house where Jean and Otis Milburn live, and the good news is that it is in fact a B&B where you can stay. The Chalet is located in Symonds Yat in the Wye River Valley, on the border of England and Wales.

A very romantic location is the Forest of Dean, a forest where Eric and Adam go on a picnic. The mystical-looking forest has inspired writers JRR Tolkien and JK Rowling, and has appeared on the big screen several times - in the films 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' and 'King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword'.

That Wales can have a real international 'trick' is also proven by a high school modeled on those seen in American teen movies. Scenes in front of Mooredale High High School were filmed on the 2016-closed campus of Caerleon, University of Wales. When travel restrictions due to a pandemic got involved in the filming schedule, South Wales ‘jumped in’ and represented Nigeria where Eric was going to a cousin’s wedding, and even real African sand was delivered.

However, what intrigued us the most was the untouched nature, lush greenery, and architecture with a long history, so we definitely put these locations on our 'bucket list'.
