Disney+ presented what awaits us in the new seasons of the series "What If...?"
Marvel Studios is preparing the 3rd season of the hit animated series.
There are countless potential stories in the Marvel multiverse, and the latest trailer reveals what we can expect in the upcoming seasons of their "What If…?" animated series.
The popular animated action series, planned for the streaming service Disney+, takes us back to key moments within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and takes them in a completely new direction, thus exploring the eternal what would have been if there was a question and offering us a completely different course of action. Unlike other MCU Disney+ shows that are released weekly, a new episode of this season will be released each day.
The anthology series, created by A. C. Bradley, is based on the comic series of the same name. She is also the main screenwriter of the first two seasons, and Matthew Chauncey will work on the third, while Bryan Andrews is the main director of all seasons.
Jeffrey Wright is the main narrator of the series as the Watcher, with some of the actors from the MCU reprising their roles, such as Hayley Atwell, Samuel L. Jackson, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
The first season premiered on August 11, 2021, after being originally announced in April 2019, as part of Phase Four (Phase 4) of the MCU, and the second season premiered on December 22, 2023, as part of Phase Five (Phase 5 ). The series received excellent reviews from viewers and critics who generally praised the way the actors lent their voices, followed by the animation, creative stories, and script. On December 30, 2023, the final episode of the second season of the series "What If...?" arrived on Disney+. This means that on that streaming, you can watch all episodes of both seasons, a total of 18 of them. The third season is in preparation, and it is the spin-off Marvel Zombies, which we expect during this year with 4 episodes.
