The Hollywood star, who gained her fame at an early age, when she got a role in the blockbuster ‘ET’, took viewers to the home where she spent her first years of life and where she felt extremely lonely, and then they went to the first apartment where she lived, favorite bookstores, but also dry-cleaner's. She ended her Los Angeles tour at an institution she was forced to enter as a teenager.
‘My mom called a friend because her daughter was out of control and they brought me here in the middle of the night. They escorted me and closed two doors behind me, after which there was no going back. I spent a year and a half there, 'Drew recalled, sobbing.

'I screamed and threw myself, but it didn't help. At one moment I was at film premieres and dancing at night parties, and at the other, I was locked in an institution from which you can't get out, 'said Barrymore, adding that at first she did not voluntarily agree to get help for her addiction, but today she is aware that such a move by her mother was necessary to make her sober.
'I can't even believe I'm here today, because while I was locked up here, I never dreamed of such a thing. I thought I would stay there forever. I didn’t think I could ever succeed and be happy in life. Maybe I wouldn't be alive if it hadn't been for this place, so it was important for me to come here today and remember everything, ' Drew admitted.
