Elon Musk's father is good at making other people's lives miserable: He has a child with stepdaughter and killed three people in 'self-defense'
After the news that Elon Musk and Grimes broke up, everyone started digging out facts about the richest people in the world. The research was not only reduced to what kind of relationship he had with the singer or how they raise the child, but it went deeper into the most intimate family matters.
Elon Musk's mother never refused the media, so Maye Musk openly talked about her difficult life and what she went through, both with Elon and her husband Errol Musk. What few people know is that Elon and his father are not on good terms.
The book "Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future" shed light on this family, in which Ashlee Vance conducted research and interviews with all family members in order to get to the bottom of tense relationships.

In this book, Elon described his father with the words: "He is an evil man".
"He's good at making people's life miserable, that's for sure. He is not a happy man. I don't know how someone becomes what he is. It would just cause too much trouble to tell you more about him," Elon said.
Errol has done many bad and dramatic things in his life, and one of the worst is the fact that he has a child with his stepdaughter. Elon Musk's father seduced a girl who was only four years old when he married her mother. Jana Bezuidenhout and Errol have a child, and he justified himself by saying that he did not consider Jana, who was 30 at the time, as his stepdaughter, because she had been out of the family for a long time and was raised in another home.
He further explains that the baby Elliot Rush he has with his stepdaughter is just the fruit of a "one-time mistake".
"It happened one evening when Jana came to sleep with me after her boyfriend kicked her out of the house. You have to understand that I have been alone for 20 years and that I am just an ordinary man who makes mistakes," Errol explained.

If you thought that the story couldn't get worse, let's just mention that Errol talked about the violent moments in South Africa in an interview for Rolling Stone in 2017.
He revealed that he shot and killed three people who broke into his house in Johannesburg. He was initially charged with manslaughter but he was eventually acquitted on the basis of self-defense.
