Eric Stonestreet became famous as a gay man in the sitcom 'Modern Family', but in real life he just got engaged to a gorgeous girl!
Eric Stonestreet, the actor who became famous for his role as Cameron in the popular comedy series ‘Modern Family’, posted photos with his girlfriend and boasted about her becoming his fiancée.
Actor Eric Stonestreet (49) announced via a series of photos on Instagram that his girlfriend Lindsay Schweitzer has agreed to marry him.
Stonestreet is best known for the comedy series ‘Modern Family’, where he plays the role of one of the main characters, Cameron. His character is a gay man married to the sympathetic red-haired lawyer Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson).
The actor has been in a relationship with a nurse who is at least ten years younger than him since 2017 when they met in Kansas City.
When he was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the same year, he joked that he was glad that his girlfriend was a nurse, because he was a hypochondriac.
"I'm also a big baby. She calms me down, calms my nerves. I am a very tense person" - he said on that occasion.
His fans, as well as many celebrities, quickly congratulated Stonestreet in the comments of his post.
"Congratulations, you are a wonderful couple" - Michael Buble (45) wrote.
"I'm so happy for you," actress Gwyneth Paltrow (48) commented.
