Famous ladies who refused to have a nose job!

Sometimes we forget that even the biggest stars struggle with insecurities. It’s hard to believe that someone decided to look for flaws in Meryl Streep, but even this legendary actress, who has so far received 21 Oscar nominations, has faced criticism at the beginning of her career at the expense of her looks.

She admitted that she had been thinking for a long time about whether to operate on her nose, because it was the most frequent target of criticism. In a recent interview, she revealed that she understands very well the main female character from the new version of the movie "The Star is Born". Ally, played by Lady Gaga, also struggles with insecurities over people from the music industry who think her nose is too big.

She never gave in to pressure and did not have nose surgery. One music diva, Barbra Streisand, had a similar experience. And she was advised by many to cut her nose at the beginning of her career. Just like Meryl, Barbra struggled with whether to do it or not, but in the end, she decided that going under the knife was not an option.

Oprah Winfrey admitted that the operation was out of the question both because of her fear of pain, but also because of the end result.

Barbra’s decision inspired young Lea Michele. The actress and singer was only 13 years old when her then-manager told her she had to have nose surgery: “I was among the few girls in high school who didn’t have nose surgery. My mom always told me, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t do it. Neither will you' And so it was."

American actress Debra Messing did not even think that something was wrong with her nose until the filming of "Walk in the Clouds" in 1995: “I had never worked on a film before. I was filming a love scene with Keanu Reeves. The camera went off, and at one point the director shouted, ‘Cut! How soon can you get me a plastic surgeon? Her nose is ruining my movie!' That shocked me.”

Sophia Loren was even advised by her husband, director Carlo Ponti, to have a nose job, and many in the film industry agreed with his proposal.

They said my nose was too long and my mouth too big. “'You know, cameramen say your nose is too long. Maybe you should take care of it a little ', Carlo would tell me. I replied, 'Listen, I don't want to touch anything on my face because I love my face”, Sophia Loren said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

Comedian and actress Jenny Slate is also pleased that she didn’t reach for the services of plastic surgeons despite numerous tips to do so.

Although she is an advocate of plastic surgery and does not deny the procedures she has had so far, Khloe Kardashian admits that she never dared to have nose surgery, although she has been thinking about it for a long time.

Her mother Kris Jenner gave her the first criticism of her nose. She says she still has no intention of having nose surgery, and if she ever does, she will certainly not hide it from the public.
