Few people remember that before Catherine Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas was married to this lady
Before Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas was married to Diandra Luker for many years, and because of her, he had an awkward situation in Mallorca.
Hollywood actor Michael Douglas, 76, admitted he was embarrassed to share his Mallorca cottage with his ex-wife Diandra Luker for many years. He tried to give away the luxury villa in the area S'Estaca near place Valdemossa, but then last year he bought it from his ex-wife. He also admitted that it is now much more comfortable for his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones to go there on holiday when her predecessor is no longer allowed to come.
"Catherine is very happy here, especially after I no longer share the house with Diandra. She feels more comfortable. The six months division has not been comfortable for anyone," the actor said.
According to the decision of the divorce lawsuit, Douglas and Luker had the right to use the villa they bought together while they were in love for half a year. The luxury house was also on the market in 2014, but it was not sold due to the price asked for it.
Michael and Diandra stood in front of the altar in 1977 when he was 32 and she was only 19. Together they had a son, Cameron, and in 1995, Diandra filed for divorce from the actor. She received a staggering $ 45 million in a divorce lawsuit.
With his second wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael married in 2000 after a year of the relationship. The couple often said that Mallorca was their "island of love", and the actor admitted that he fell in love with his chosen one there.
Despite the difference of 25 years, Michael and Catherine defy evil tongues, and day by day it seems that their love is growing stronger. Together they have two children, son Dylan Michael, and daughter Carys Zeta.
