Homemade masks for every skin type

When making natural masks, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the set amounts of ingredients. The essential oils used must be of aromatherapy quality purchased at specialty stores.

Having great skin isn’t only a matter of genes. It also involves adopting a good skincare routine that consists of cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing your face.

Before choosing and making a mask, it is necessary to prepare the skin. Steam your face briefly with chamomile tea. This will open the pores and improve the absorption of the mask ingredients. Chamomile tea can also be used as a tonic. Soak the pads in tea and gently cleanse your face. While enjoying the face mask, put tea bags on your eyes.

Mask for normal and dry skin

Mix a teaspoon of yogurt with a teaspoon of honey. Add a drop of rosewood essential oil. Mix the ingredients until you get a fine, creamy mixture.

Massage it on clean facial skin, and after about 15 minutes, remove the mask with lukewarm water. This mask restores moisture to the skin, and you can apply it twice a week.

Mask for mature skin

Mix a small banana, a teaspoon of virgin olive oil, a teaspoon of honey, and a drop of immortelle essential oil into a smooth, creamy mixture and apply it on a clean face.

After 20 minutes, remove with a cotton ball and rinse. For wrinkled skin, after removing the mask, add a few drops of pure virgin olive oil into the skin.

Mask for oily skin

Mix a teaspoon of solid yogurt and a teaspoon of cold-pressed jojoba oil and add a drop of lavender essential oil. Gently massage the mixture on a clean face.

After about 15 minutes, remove the mask with lukewarm water. This mask is very gentle so you can use it every other day. It is also good for skin with acne.
