Horrible fate of the former Bond girl: Lana Wood lives as a homeless person and her sister was tragically killed

Actress Lana Wood marked the James Bond film "Diamonds Are Forever" in which she played Plenty O'Toole with Sean Connery in 1971. The sister of one of the biggest Hollywood divas, Natalie Wood, captivated the audience with her beauty, and today she has no roof over her head.

Namely, today she lives with her daughter, son-in-law, three grandchildren, and two dogs in a hotel room near Los Angeles.
"It is the most difficult for children, they do not have any privacy at all", she once said for Inside Edition.

As she said, they have an improvised kitchen in which only snacks and water can be accommodated, cooking is forbidden in the hotel, and they mostly eat in fast-food restaurants. As Lana pointed out, they also take clothes from the Red Cross.

When asked how she became homeless, she said: "Real life".

The actress and her family lived in a rented house in California for years, and they moved out when they could no longer afford to pay rent. As they had nowhere to go, they ended up on the street.

Her daughter fell ill, and the bills for her treatment were extremely high.

"It's like someone pulled the rug under your feet. It is difficult to deal with that", she said for the media.

Lana's sister Natalie was tragically killed, and her husband Robert Wagner was a suspect in her death. Although Natalie drowned back in 1981, Lana is still looking for answers about what exactly happened to her sister. However, Wagner denies all accusations, and the court found him not guilty.

A friend of the former Bond girl started a fundraiser to help her and her family back in 2017 and it is still active.
