How to make your stretch marks less visible?

Our skin has a certain elasticity, just like rubber. However, when it reaches its maximum, tissue rupture occurs, which manifests itself in the form of stretch marks - hated lines on the skin that most often appear on the hips, thighs, abdomen and chest due to sudden weight gain and loss, rapid growth and pregnancy.

There is almost no woman who does not have them on at least some part of the body, and although they are completely normal and miles away from the reasons for dissatisfaction with our own body, many women consider them one of the main reasons for dissatisfaction and they are constantly looking for ways to make them less visible. Although we can't get rid of them completely, their occurrence can be prevented or at least mitigated , and these 3 things help the most.

Anti-wrinkle cream

Intensive anti-wrinkle creams contain vitamin E, which helps to regenerate the skin and thus has an effect on stretch marks. They also contain an ingredient that stimulates collagen production, which regenerates the skin. It is vitamin A, or retinol, which nourishes the skin and strengthens its elasticity.

Diet

A proper and healthy diet has an amazing effect on the skin - it increases its elasticity and prevents the formation of cracks on the skin or stretch marks. You should eat:

- Foods rich in antioxidants: spinach, berries, currants, strawberries, chokeberries, raspberries and blackberries.

- Foods rich in vitamin E: nuts, sunflower seeds, eggs, olive oil and wheat germ.

- Foods rich in vitamin A: carrots, cabbage, kale, fish, pumpkin, milk and dairy products, butter and fruits such as apples, peaches, pears and apricots.

Skin hydration

In order to maintain its elasticity, and the ability to stretch, the skin needs to be hydrated inside and out. Internal hydration refers to drinking enough water during the day. But, on the other hand, the skin should be regularly treated with moisturizing creams and body lotions, but also oils, among which the best are almond and olive. After showering, apply the oil to damp skin and wait for the skin to absorb it. Repeat the procedure after each shower.
