Hundreds of fans came to support the pop star in front of the court in Los Angeles: "Free Britney"
Britney has the best supporters!
Britney Spears, 39, made a video call at a hearing in a Los Angeles court, her first public address about a court-approved arrangement introduced in 2008 when she suffered a nervous breakdown.
Britney Spears, 39, told the judge responsible for overseeing her controversial custody on Wednesday that she wanted her life back and that the 13-year custody of her father over her was over.
As a result, several hundred fans who supported Britney gathered in front of the court.
They carried banners like: "Free Britney", "Where's the money Britney Spears", "You know this is wrong", "Judge Penny release Britney", etc.
Los Angeles Supreme Court Judge Brenda Penny said she needs a formal petition submitted to the court seeking termination of guardianship before she can take any action.
Penny praised Spears for speaking up.
"I know it took a lot of courage," Penny said, then continued.
- I want to praise you again for really stepping out and standing out so that we could hear your thoughts, not only me but also everyone who participated in this case - she added.
This is not the first time that fans have taken to the streets to support their favorite pop star.
