Isaiah Washington claims that Ellen Pompeo was payed $ 5 million to keep quiet about Patrick Dempsey's "toxic" behavior on Grey's Anatomy set
It is no longer a secret that actor Patrick Dempsey isn't a kind person and that he showed his bad side on the set of the series "Grey's Anatomy", where he acted like a real tyrant in front of his colleagues. What’s new is that he bribed colleagues not to tell the world what he was doing behind the camera, especially during the #MeToo movement where everyone was publicly talking about their negative experiences and admitting they were victims.
Actor Isaiah Washington, known to fans of the series as Dr. Preston Burke, shed light on this secret when he said on a radio show that his colleague Ellen Pompeo (Meredith) took $ 5 million under the table to keep quiet about the tyranny on the set.
"She took a bribe in the middle of the #MeToo era just so the world wouldn't know how toxic and nasty Patrick Dempsey really was," Washington said.
Also, Isaiah, who starred in "Grey's Anatomy" from 2005 to 2007 and again in 2014, spoke about the alleged harassment he experienced while filming the series.

"Every single day I was a problem that was being reminded. They said, ‘You’re No. 4 on the call sheet. You’re not the star of this show,'” the actor said.
He also adds that he was fired from the set in 2017 because he had a conflict with Dempsey and that they called him a homophobe.
Washington said his tensions with Dempsey, 55, were initially based on finances.
"I was the highest-paid person on that show, next to Patrick Dempsey," he said. "Apparently, it got out, so there was a lot of resentment. I understand that but it was based on my roles and my resume. I can't help that. He was called Pilot Poison. No one wanted him on the show. They wanted Rob Lowe," Washington continued.

"I was at a table read, Peter Horton ... came over and said, "I thought we got rid of you." Patrick Dempsey walks in, didn't think I could see him with the reflection, throws up his hands, like, "What is he doing here?" That's day one," the actor recalled.
He also claims that he received insults with racist charges from Dempsey.
"He liked me and once I had a conversation with him, he said, "Isaiah, do you know that white men are the masters of the universe?" And I said, "You really believe that?" And he said "Absolutely,"' he said.

"That Monday, he is late. Instead of apologizing for it, he got in my face and assaulted me three times. Physically. I did what I had to do as a man. And I cussed him out," said Washington about Dempsey.
