A couple of interesting stories give just a flavor of what awaits the readers of Joan Collins's memoirs, which are full of interesting events that marked the colorful life of the actress.

"Dinner with my son Sasha at The Ivy restaurant. It is assumed that he will be joined by a producer but he does not call or appear. That's Hollywood, people. Sitting at the next table is Jennifer Aniston, the one from "Friends" who's currently breaking hearts".

She also described a private party with television producer Aaron Spelling, where she was bothered by bad food.

In one chapter, she described her visit to Buckingham Palace and her meeting with Queen Elizabeth II, who honored her with the Order of the British Empire.

Joanna describes how she was very nervous, but then calmed down by her friend Paul McCartney, who was then declared a knight.

One of Joanna's most controversial confessions is a meeting with Paula Yates, the ex-wife of Bob Geldof, whom Joan met while having dinner with gastronomic critic Adrian Gill at a Japanese restaurant.

"Paula approached me with a baby in her arms. She came to greet me and told Adrian that he was the only person who had ever written anything nice about her. She offered him oral sex. Even he was surprised," Collins wrote.
