Johnny Depp - Returning to the iconic role
We can't kill Jack Sparrow, we tried, but it didn't work.
The continuance of "Pirates of the Caribbean" is unimaginable without the star, according to producer Jerry Bruckheimer, but everything rests on Disney.
According to the most recent news, Johnny Depp may reprise his role as Jack Sparrow in the upcoming sequel to " Pirates of the Caribbean ".
The topic that has intrigued fans of this iconic film franchise for months is still unknown, but producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who is working on the picture, has hinted that Depp's return is likely.
- We're still working on that,' he said when asked about Depp's comeback to the legendary character.
It is impossible to imagine a new film without him
Bruckheimer is open to the actor returning to the Disney franchise since he believes that the sixth installment of this production would be impossible to envision without his character, who starred in all five sequels.
The new picture was placed on hold since it was unclear how Depp and Amber Heard's trial would end. Disney suspended Depp as a result of the claims against him, but now that the case has been resolved in his favor, there are no more roadblocks.
Nonetheless, the actor was outraged that Disney had banned his participation in "Pirates," and he even declared during the trial that he would never return to this film for any money.
Bruckheimer, on the other hand, states that he would love to see Depp reprise his role as Jack Sparrow, but when questioned if Disney would take him on because of the contentious words, he was unable to respond.
- You have to ask them, I can't answer that question. I really wish he would play Jack again. He is a great actor and friend and he had a difficult situation in his life - said Bruckheimer and added:
- We can't kill Jack Sparrow, we tried, but it didn't work.
