The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was a real star last night at the "Royal Carols - Together At Christmas" Christmas carol. It was the first time the Duchess had played the piano in public, to the delight of all present at Westminster Abbey.
She accompanied singer Tom Walker to the piano as part of a surprise concert on Christmas Eve, which was broadcast on Christmas Eve in the United Kingdom.
Although she previously admitted that she fears public appearances, she gathered courage and showed her long-hidden talent in front of millions of viewers on the Christmas television special 'Together at Christmas.'
Kate gave a concert with singer Tom Walker, whom she accompanied on the piano, and she received praise for her first public performance.
"The Duchess practiced hard at home, she really put a lot of time and energy into making it work. I was really impressed, she's a great musician. It's not easy to sit at the piano and play with a bunch of musicians you've never worked with before, but she's this performance really ‘ruined.’ She is such a lovely, kind and cordial person. The royal family election says it was all Kate's idea.
