Macron's father spoke about Brigitte!

The relationship between French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, 24 years older, continues to capture the attention of the French and world public.

Their relationship from the very beginning caused outrage among the public, especially after it was learned that it all started back in school where Ms. Macron was in the role of teacher and the French president a student. He was 15 at the time, and she worked as a literature teacher. They knew they would face numerous public condemnations, so they kept their relationship a secret for a long time.

Because of Emmanuel, Brigitte left her husband Andrea-Louis Auzier with whom she has daughters Tiphaine (37) and Laurence (44) and son Sebastian (46). Andre filed for divorce, which did not go smoothly, and it was official in 2006. The former literature teacher did not wait long after the divorce and married Emmanuel in 2007. He decided not to have children.

'It's a decision I made myself. Brigitte, my wife, had three children. Some were already adults when I met her, some were younger. And then we asked ourselves that question. We thought that the most important thing was to take them on the right path and to love them, and now in the end I have seven grandchildren. I had no need to have biological children. The only thing that matters is that we love and accept each other, 'said Emmanuel.

Although Emmanuel and Brigitte seem to be madly in love and it seems that the age difference is not the slightest problem, this unusual couple still, 15 years after the wedding often fill the pages of the tabloids. During the year, a lot was written about how his parents did not approve of their relationship, and it was even emphasized that they forced their son to change school after learning that he was in love with a teacher.

Macron's parents have not advertised on this topic until now. Namely, his father, Jean-Michel Macron, gave an interview to the French L'Alsace in which, among other things, he commented on his son's relationship with his wife and denied rumors that he was forced to change schools.

'These are stories for young children. From the beginning, it was agreed that Emmanuel would spend the last year of his schooling in Paris, at the Lyce Henri-IV school, in order to make it easier for him to enroll in college. That journalist whose name I don't even want to mention and who really annoys me, wrote everything wrong, 'he said. This statement referred to journalist Anne Fuldi who wrote a book about Emmanuel Macron.

The French president's self-denying mother, Françoise Noguès, reportedly found it harder to accept the relationship, but author Gaël Tchakaloff says in her book that she described the relationship with Brigitte as friendly.

' I don't have another friend like that, we have the same interests, the same priorities, we tell each other everything,' she told.

She admitted that the age difference made it difficult for her to accept her daughter-in-law, but she pointed out that she was on good terms with the couple and also that the change of school had nothing to do with Brigitte.
