Meghan Markle caught planning a new business: She collabs with a controversial company on a cosmetics line?

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle (40) has a new project in the making. After Netflix, a podcast, and a book, the Duchess seems to be preparing her own cosmetic line. The Daily Mail caught her getting off a Guthy-Renker private plane with her husband in Santa Barbara, with which they were on a three-day VIP trip to New York.

Although they did not announce it, speculations that Meghan is planning a line for which she will hire this controversial marketing company started immediately when the photos were released to the public.

By the way, this is the company that made supermodel Cindy Crawford the highest-paid model in the world. They have also collaborated with Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez, and Heidi Klum on their cosmetic lines. Crawford launched its anti-aging skin line called 'Meaningful Beauty' back in 2005 and has made millions since then. By 2015, Guthy-Renker had aired at least 11 of Crawford's commercials on national television, including those for the ‘QVC’ channel. She added hair products to the line just this year.

Meghan’s move into the world of cosmetics and advertising would be an extremely unusual move for a member of the royal family.

Although very successful, Guthy-Renker has been known as a controversial company since it came under the FBI's magnifying glass for illegal business, but also 26-million-dollar lawsuits by women who claimed that their shampoo suddenly causes hair loss.
