Montblanc Summit 3: Luxury smart watch with Wear OS 3.0

If you argue that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 was the first smartwatch with Wear OS 3.0, you are correct. However, it was not a pure Wear OS 3.0 experience.

According to the 9to5Google page, Samsung has enhanced this technology in its watch with the addition of One UI (by Samsung). Montblanc Summit 3 is the first smartwatch with pure Wear OS 3.0 (by Google).

The hardware has clearly evolved from the previous generation Montblanc Summit 2 based on the technical parameters.

The most important upgrade is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset, which increases performance while decreasing battery consumption. The chipset is also required for the watch to be able to run the Wear OS 3.0 system at all.

A 1.28-inch AMOLED display shows system and fitness information. The RAM is 1 GB, and there is 8 GB of internal storage for storing songs for offline playback.

Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, and NFC allow connectivity. The manufacturer does not extol the battery capacity or endurance, however, 1-3 days can be expected due to the display, chipset, and system.

While the hardware is not significantly different from the competition, the watch processing is. The watch's body is made of titanium, stainless steel, and sapphire crystal.

The belt should be made of the highest quality leather, with hand-processed metal parts. Montblanc offers only traditional luxury. This equates to a high price of 1,270 dollars.

The official website will go on sale in the second half of July.
