Netflix's new action drama: "The Brothers Sun" is coming soon!

At the beginning of 2024, a tense series in which the family is on first place will arrive on Netflix. We are talking about the series "The Brothers Sun", in which the main role is played by Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh. We got some plot details in the official trailer that was revealed yesterday.

When the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad is shot by a mysterious assassin, his eldest son Charles ( Justin Chien ) goes to Los Angeles to protect his mother Eileen ( Yeoh ), and his naive younger brother Bruce ( Sam Song Li ), who until that moment didn't know what his family was for real.

This is indeed a dark comedic drama and family soap. The eight-episode series is located in Los Angeles and Taiwan. It is uniquely distinct, featuring an all-Asian cast. We are following Taipei gangster, Charles Sun, who’s settled into his life as a ruthless killer. After his father was shot by a mysterious assassin, Charles must go to L.A. to protect his mother and younger brother Bruce. Bruce will have to quickly come to terms with the truth and realize that he is not living a carefree life as he thought, and he will have to think with Charles about the true meaning of brotherhood and family - but quickly because Taipei's worst and most dangerous societies and factions begin to fight for dominance over the territory.

This action drama series with elements of humor was created by Brad Falchuk ( American Horror Story, Glee ) and Byron Wu, and the other roles are Highdee Kuan, Joon Lee, Jon Xue Zhang, Jenny Yang, Madison Hu, and Alice Hewkin .

This exciting action series will arrive on streaming platforms on January 4, 2024, with all eight episodes. We are sure that you will not regret it if you decide to watch it!
