NEW: Adam Sandler Stars in New Netflix Sci-Fi Film "Spaceman"!
Adam Sandler is an astronaut who tries to save his marriage in the sci-fi drama "Spaceman".
The first teaser trailer for the new film with Adam Sandler arrived from Netflix - this time it's about the SF drama "Spaceman".
In the 25-second teaser for "Spaceman", Sandler crosses a forested location on an isolated experimental mission at the edge of the solar system. A dark voice in the background says, "Just like you, I escaped my planet through galaxies, through black holes, through time, and then I found... You."
According to the film's official synopsis from Netflix, Spaceman follows an astronaut who "realizes that the marriage he left behind may not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things with his wife, he is supported by a mysterious ancient creature he finds hidden in the womb of his ship."
Directed by Johan Renck, who won an Emmy for "Chornobyl", and adapted from a screenplay by Colby Day, the film is based on Jaroslav Kalfař's 2017 novel "Spaceman of Bohemia". This story is about astronaut Jakub (Sandler) who has been on a solitary mission in space for six months. His goal is to reach the very edge of the solar system. In this situation, he realizes that the wife he left behind on Earth may not wait for him when he returns. Now desperate to fix the situation with his wife Lenka (Carey Mulligan), a mysterious being from the beginning of time, Hanush (voiced by Paul Dano), who is hiding in a spaceship, comes to his aid. Jakub and Hanush will try to figure out where things went wrong before it's too late.
Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin, and Isabella Rossellini are also part of the cast. Sandler, who signed an exclusive contract with Netflix, successfully cooperates with this streaming, so recently he achieved the best start ever for Netflix's animated film "Leo", and his live comedies "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah" and "Accidental Detectives" were also very successful. We expect "Spaceman" to stream on March 1, 2024
