New details about Amazon's "Fallout" series are out!
We technically got our first look at Amazon's "Fallout" series last year when the first photo was released. But now, we have more details.
The teaser for the series is not yet released to the general public, but the lucky ones at this year's Gamescom had the privilege of seeing the first moving images. The series for Amazon Studios is produced by Kilter Films in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. The creators and executive producers are Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, and Nolan directs the first three episodes. Other executive producers and showrunners include Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel, Tomb Raider) and Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley, The Office).
Since the newly published photos reveal almost nothing about the plot, it's good that we finally got a synopsis. Based on one of the best video games of all time, "Fallout" is the story of the haves and the have-nots, in a world where is almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the residents of a luxury radioactive fallout are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind - and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, strange, and highly violent universe that awaits them.

What can we expect?
The story focuses on three characters, Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul. Ella Purnell portrays Lucy, a member of Vault 33, who is sent on a rescue mission, where she is introduced to the surface world for the first time. Lucy is described as a charming, naive, strong, and optimistic person, with a can-do attitude. But her peaceful and idealistic nature is put to the test when people harm her loved ones. Kyle MacLachlan portrays her father, the supervisor of Vault 33, who wants to change the world for the better. Aaron Moten portrays Maximus, a member of the militaristic Brotherhood of Steel faction who dreams of one day being a soldier in Power Armor but is actually a sidekick to such a soldier. He believes in the nobility of his faction's mission, to bring law and order to the Wasteland - and he will do anything to achieve those goals. And finally, there is Walton Goggins as The Ghoul, a bounty hunter who is described as ruthless and terrifying, but also honorable. He existed for more than a hundred years. The plot occasionally takes us back to when he was still a human being, a father and husband named Cooper Howard before a nuclear holocaust reduced the world to ashes and transformed him into an undead creature.
In the other roles are Sarita Choudhury (Jessica Jones), Michael Emerson (Lost), Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Zach Cherry (Severance), and Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).
The photos look great, so we still hope for a good adaptation that will arrive on Prime Video on April 12.
