This juicy apple biscuit has several benefits. Other than being really tasty, the preparation is short and you won’t have a bunch of dirty dishes waiting for you.
All you need to prepare a quick apple cake is a functional oven, one bowl, a mixer, a cake pan and two sweet apples. After a quick mix, you just need to put it in the oven and wait for it to bake and cool. Although it will be tasty and without special additives, we suggest that you serve it with standard whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
- 120 g of smooth flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 120 g butter
- 150 g of sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons rum
- 2 sweet apples
Preparation:
- Wash, peel and dice the apple.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Coat a 24 cm diameter cake tin with butter and cover the bottom with baking paper.
- Softened butter mix with sugar into a fluffy mixture and add one egg at a time.
- Pour in the vanilla extract and rum, then mix well.
- Dry ingredients, flour, baking powder and salt, pour into the prepared mixture and mix with a wooden spoon, and finally add the apples.
- Pour the dough into the prepared mold, smooth and spread a little sugar on top, about one full spoon.
- Bake for about 40 minutes, then check with a toothpick if the cake is baked.
- Allow cooling before removing from the mold.
- Sprinkle the cooled cake with powdered sugar.
