The legendary Val Kilmer could not have wished for better support on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival. Only because of him, Jack and Mercedes Kilmer arrived in France, who did not want to miss the premiere of the documentary about their famous father Val Kilmer.
Although the legendary Val Kilmer did not appear on the red carpet at an event organized on the occasion of the premiere of his documentary at the Cannes Film Festival, he had the best possible representatives. His 26-year-old son Jack and 23-year-old daughter Mercedes came out in front of the photographers and did their father's job with a smile.
Val Kilmer had them during his eight-year marriage to Joanne Whalley, and although they themselves followed in their father’s footsteps, Jack and Mercedes are not overly familiar to the public.
The 26-year-old Jack Kilmer has acted in about twenty films so far, and his most famous role is in the 2013 film 'Palo Alto' and the role of Pelle Dead Ohlin in the Norwegian 'Lords of Chaos' from 2018. He also embodied Ozzy Osbourne in his video ‘Under the Graveyard’.
His three-year-old younger sister also introduces herself as an actress but as a producer as well. Mercedes Kilmer also had the opportunity to star with her famous father in the movie 'Paydirt'.
By the way, in a clip from the documentary ‘ Val ’ posted on YouTube, Val Kilmer talked about his struggle with being diagnosed with throat cancer by explaining how he now wants to tell his story more than ever. According to him, he has been trying to find his voice through film roles for decades, and he describes himself as a sensitive and intelligent human being with a clown soul.
The documentary will hit cinemas on July 23, while it will be available on Amazon Prime from August 3.
