Prince Harry’s revelations to Oprah Winfrey!
Prince Harry recently opened up about himself and his life during an appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s In The Me You Can’t See.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are goals! Nowadays who doesn’t want a relationship like theirs?! They first met on a date they went to, which was set up for them by a mutual friend. Meghan was a famous actress then who was also an aspiring social worker and feminist. Before he said “Yes” to Meghan at the altar, Harry was thought of as the world’s most desirable bachelor. Their first date took place in 2016, and they both knew they were right for each other after only a couple of dates. After being together for a year, and getting over many controversies, Harry gathered the courage and proposed to Meghan in November 2017. Another year went by until they got married on May 19, 2018, and became known as Duke and Duchess of Sussex. However, on March 31 last year, they put out a statement that they are formally stepping down as Royals. Of course, the world exploded with rumors, everyone wanted to know why, and everyone had their own assumptions and theories, most of them with a scandal at the basis of everything. Therefore, Prince Harry decided to clear the air and to do an interview with Oprah on his life story and his journey so far.

Prince Harry’s memory of his mother
A shattering memory he described was that of his mother, Princess Diana “strapped in the car, being chased by three, four, five mopeds, being unable to drive because of tears”. He talked about this memory constantly repeating in his head and him feeling helpless because of it.
Sour memories of Diana’s funeral
When talking about his mother’s funeral he said that he was feeling like he was “outside of his body, doing what was expected of him, not even showing one-tenth of the emotions that everyone else of showing”.
Taking drugs and alcohol to fight anxiety
Prince Harry opened up about his late 20s, how he was battling depression and anxiety so in order to make himself feel better he used drugs and alcohol.
Regrets as a family man
During the interview, he also opened up about his regrets tied to his family, ie his wife, and how he regrets “not dealing with wife, Meghan Markle’s suicidal thoughts” and not helping her get through it all how he was supposed to.
Taking therapy sessions
On his wife's suggestion, Prince Harry agreed to take up therapy, and currently, he is in a much better place than before, finally having learned how to properly channelize his emotions.
