Razer Ornata V3 is updated with mecha-membrane switches
Razer's new Mecha-Membrane Switches, which blend the finest of mechanical and membrane switch technologies, are the big news.
Razer has officially announced the release of the new Razer Ornata V3, which comes in a new leaner and smaller style, geared at addressing the needs of today's gamers searching for a keyboard, cutting the wait in half compared to its first upgrade.
Starting with its design, we find a low-profile keyboard with a total thickness of only 27 millimeters, based on an aluminum chassis and accompanied by ABS keys with a UV coating to improve resistance to discoloration and scratches.
Also included is a soft ergonomic wrist rest with a magnetic clasp for long hours of gaming, which is uncommon in this price range.
The alteration in its upper-right part, on the other hand, stands out, with the elimination of the control wheel contained in its predecessor, this time replaced by a new set of round format multimedia buttons and a shorter profile, more in line with the latest brand keyboards.
As a result, the Ornata V3 completes its design with 10 lighting zones and specialized backlit multimedia keys powered by Razer Chroma RGB multicolor technology and Synapse 3 software.
Although the biggest improvement is its new switches, with an activation profile of only 4.40 millimeters, which deliver a softer and more cushioned touch sensation thanks to its new mecha-membrane switches, assuring outstanding comfort during sessions.
Currently, we can already find the Ornata V3 available from the official Razer website.
