Recipes for the most special cocktails this summer!
Make them with your favorite edible flowers! Rose, chamomile, elderberry - you choose!
Edible flowers are used as decoration for dishes, added to salads, and sauces. But why not use them as part of a cocktail? It will look gorgeous but it will also give a specific aroma to our cocktails. So take a walk to a nearby meadow or your own garden, pick a rose, chamomile, or elderberry, and - enjoy!
The soft side of whiskey
- 6 chamomile tea bags
- 4 cups of warm water
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- 90 ml whiskey or bourbon
- 2 orange slices
- 3 lemon slices
- Fresh chamomile flowers
Pour hot water over the tea bags, when it cools down a bit, add honey and whiskey or bourbon. Shake together with the remaining ingredients in a shaker, strain and pour over ice cubes.

Margarita with roses

- 60 ml tequila
- 30 ml orange liqueur
- 15 ml agave nectar
- 30 ml rose syrup
- 30 ml lime juice
- rose salt
Put all the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and pour into a glass whose rim you previously dipped in lime juice, and then in salt flavored with rose. Garnish the cocktail with rose petals.
Gin and tonic with elderberry

- 60 ml gin
- 2 tablespoons elderberry liqueur
- 200-250 ml elderberry tonic
- Elderflower for decoration
Place the gin and liqueur in a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice. Stir and strain the glasses. Top up with 200-250 ml of elderberry tonic. Serve garnished with an elderflower.
