Raquel Welch gained world fame in the 60s of the last century and since then, the words - sex symbol - have been regularly written next to her name. Today, the 81-year-old actress was filmed by paparazzi in Beverly Hills, dressed in a white T-shirt, black pants and platform sandals, while she put a straw hat on her head.

And while in most of the photos she had a protective face mask, which is why the paparazzi did not recognize her at first, but as soon as she took it off, the unforgettable facial features appeared.

Although she once conquered Hollywood, the years did their thing, and her last public appearance was in 2019 when she gave an interview to the British Sunday Post. In that interview, she revealed that after decades of fame, she now truly enjoys life away from the eyes of the curious public. But she does not hide that she is glad when they recognize her.

"It's nicer than not being recognized. Throughout my career, I have been 'noticed', just like all other actors and actresses, so I am grateful that the public is still interested in where I am and what I do," she once admitted.

This Golden Globe winner, who has made numerous films, is also known for her public romances, as well as four failed marriages, which is why she often filled newspaper columns. She was married to James Welch , producer Patrick Curtis, her husband was director Andre Weinfeld, but also actor Richie Palmer.

Born in Chicago as Jo Raquel Tejada, after her divorce from Palmer in 2008, she has enjoyed the single life. "I adore men and I adore being in their company, but on the other hand I am too independent. I want to have a relationship, but, honestly, it's hard to find interesting people my age."
