Renée Zellweger surprises with physical change for new thriller series

Renée Zellweger officially began filming  The Thing About Pam,  her new murder mystery series. The Oscar-winning actress will return to television in a thriller that promises to speak for its plot. In addition, she already has many surprised with the first photos of the recording set. 

And it is in the images, you can see a radical change in the actress's physique. While it's probably all makeup and prosthetics work, it's still surprising how Zellweger will look in her next production. 

Renée Zellweger's new series

The Thing About Pam is the name of the new Renée Zellweger series, where the story behind one of the most mysterious murders of the past decade will be told. The production has already started and the first photos are published.

In this series, Betsy Faria's death, a woman who was brutally murdered in 2011 is explored and all eyes are pointed to her husband, who was convicted but always denied the facts. However, this becomes even more mysterious with the appearance of a woman named Pam Hupp (Renée Zellweger) and her plan behind it.

In the first photos, Renée Zellweger can be seen in a white jacket and jeans. However, her figure is striking, as she seems to be wearing a "fat suit", suits used by actors to play overweight characters. 

It should be noted that these practices are quite popular in the industry and have been around for years. However, there has been controversy recently about it, with some questioning that thin actors were hired rather than others who already have a similar physique. 

In fact, Sarah Paulson ( American Horror Story)  had to come out to apologize after playing Linda Tripp in  American Crime Story. As she explained, the role seemed perfect but she regretted wearing a fat suit.
